On May 11, Professor Carlos Cziulik of the Federal University of Paraná, Brazil, made a courtesy visit to the President of the university. Tokushima University made an intercollegiate agreement with the Federal University of Paraná in 2017, and we have been pursuing more extensive engagement since.
On the occasion of this courtesy visit, we discussed specific plans to promote future exchanges. Professor Cziulik proposed a short-term program at the Federal University of Paraná and internships at local companies, and the university offered many opinions. It was decided to consider the proposal positively.
In the future, it is expected that both the Federal University of Paraná and Tokushima will dispatch students and deepen the relationship with a focus on students exchanges.
